My experience caring for children comes from several years working professionally in early childhood education and professional childcare settings.( Daycare centers) I have cared for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early school-age children, supporting their daily routines, learning, development, and emotional needs. I have experience creating engaging activities, supporting language and communication development, guiding behavior with patience, and creating safe and nurturing environments. I have also gained valuable experience as a mother, which has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and understanding of the importance of providing children with consistent, loving care. 💕

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love teaching children through hands-on experiences, especially by exploring and learning about nature. I enjoy helping children develop their vocabulary, language, and communication skills through everyday conversations, reading, and play. I also believe it’s important to get down on their level and truly engage with them during playtime. Whether we’re exploring outside, creating something together, or using our imagination during play, I love making learning fun and helping children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn. 💕

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a childcare professional is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where a child feels comfortable being themselves. I believe children need more than someone who simply watches them—they need someone who is patient, attentive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their well-being and development. Building a strong relationship with the child while also communicating openly and respectfully with their parents is very important to me. I want parents to feel confident knowing their child is being cared for with patience, kindness, consistency, and genuine love. 💕

My experience with special needs children...

Through my experience as a childcare professional, I have cared for children with different developmental, behavioral, communication, and individual needs. I understand that every child is unique and may need different types of support, patience, and encouragement. I enjoy taking the time to learn what works best for each child and creating a safe, supportive environment where they can feel comfortable and successful. I am patient, attentive, and willing to learn from parents and other professionals so I can provide the best care possible for each child.💕

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children was walking into my classroom one morning and having all 16 of my three-year-old students run up to me with the biggest smiles, give me hugs, and say, “I love you, Ms. Mimi!” 💛

It was the first time I had ever experienced a moment like that, and it truly touched my heart. Their excitement to see me and the love they showed me made me realize that I had created a safe, loving, and positive environment where they felt connected to me.

It reminded me that sometimes the smallest moments can mean the most. Knowing that my students genuinely loved seeing me made me feel proud and reassured me that I was making a positive difference in their lives. That moment is something I will always remember and one of the reasons I love working with children so much.💕
