I have babysat many kids since i was about 14 and even before that I would often help my aunt at the daycare she worked at! I now work at a daycare in the older toddler room but looking to work in a more one on one setting with kids!

Being patient with the children around you and knowing that every child is special and has different wants and needs. Also setting good boundaries with them and giving them a chance to learn whenever possible!

In grade school I often went to the special needs class to spend time with the people in there and have had kids with special needs in my class at my daycare!
