A little bit about me

I am a 19 year-old Filipina woman who is interested in broadening my horizons in babysitting. Being the oldest granddaughter in an ethnic household has placed a backbone of care and kindness within my heart. I have cared for children from newborns to junior high. I have experience in meal-prep and housekeeping. I am a vegetarian, so I am conscious of the importance that goes into what we feed our bodies.

If you are looking for a social butterfly to interact with your child, I am the right fit for you. I enjoy having conversations with children and expanding their terminology through patience and immersive, academic activities.

The challenges of the pandemic have been hard to navigate through especially for parents who are busy and need assistance through childcare. I have tried my best to limit these barriers and received the full COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer). I can also wear my mask if requested and get tested every week.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

around Christmas time. I always babysit my cousins where I have to supervise up to seven children at some points. Additionally, I have watches pets such as bunnies, dogs, fishes, crabs, lizards and cats at some households.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

consist of doing karaoke, baking cake, playing with pets, reading, drawing, and simply having a conversation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

being attentive, caring and always showing love to the child.

Being the oldest and a women, I didn't receive as much love in the household growing up. Therefore, would love to share that nurturing element with another child in hopes that they won't go through the trauma that I did.
