Hello! My name is Lara and I am originally from Oxford in England. I emigrated to the United States 28 years ago with my immediate family. We have always resided in Florida. I have over 20 years of child care experience ranging from newborns to teenagers and children with special needs. I am both CPR and First Aid certified. I lived in Italy for four years, where I worked as a nanny/English teacher. I have also been to Nairobi, Kenya, twice, where I went to volunteer in an orphanage. These trips changed my life. I consider being a nanny a privilege and honor. Every day shows some sort of growth in every child, whether it be physical, reaching a milestone, mental, learning something new or completing a new task! This is one of the reasons I love my chosen career!
