Collectively I have fifteen plus years worth of work experience working as a Nanny. My work has been throughout the PDX. Metro. area with a core age range being from six-weeks to thirty-six months of age. I am presently enrolled within the state database for educators and I hold valid certifications in both First-Aid CPR and/AED for infants, children, adults, and canines.

I worked as a provider , a Head Teacher, and a Teacher Assistant for many years prior to 2022. In around the fourth quarter of 2021 I left the classroom voluntarily and began working as a Nanny for families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Due to living within the PNW I enjoy offering to infants and young toddlers opportunities for outside play and time spent together. This involves sensory exploration, and observing our natural environment.

Separately, I am an avid reader and enjoy an array of music. Bringing into the lives of my students and those who I care for music and movement opportunities along with language development.

Lastly, offering a child based play and purposeful play experience allows for the littles to take charge of their own environment to some extent and explore.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Positively impacting the lives of littles is what I find to be professionally rewarding. In my experience both working in Early Childhood Education in classroom and in home settings, the health and safety of the infant, young toddler, and/or toddler is paramount.

I have experience in play based, child led curriculum approaches. Additionally, I have experience in working with families to ensure communication is open, and done effectively. Interfacing with busy adults/parents of littles I am well adept with doing.

Offering occasional updates, and sharing daily reports on how the infant or child’s day is progressing is done with care by me.
