My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children with very minimal disabilities to extremely severe. My brother has over 22 different medical diagnoses ranging from Cerebral palsy, cognitive impairment, wheelchair bound, strictly tube fed. I love all children the same and believe I can offer something to all of them!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The last little girl I nannied had autism and loved the pool. The majority of our time together had started in the late fall so we didn’t get much swimming in. But come summertime it was a blast seeing her enjoy the neighborhood pool.
