A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Lauren and I am a current student at IU Bloomington looking for a summer nannying job before my senior year of college begins.

I am studying Counseling Psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health with plans to become a mental health counselor after undergrad. Before majoring in counseling, I was an elementary education major. Working with children is still one of my passions despite my major change! I have over three years of experience working in school and non-profit settings with ages ranging from infants to upper elementary. I am also CPR/First Aid certified.

In addition to my previous experience, I have taken many courses in child development & developmental psychology, which informs my approach. I strive to provide positive reinforcement and enriching developmentally appropriate activities. I would love to get the opportunity to work with you and your family!
