Ensuring that the children are not only safe but actively learning while still having fun. I love being able to provide a safe place for the littles and allowing them to grow. Understanding that all children are different and therefore have to be cared for specially as individuals is super important to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with children on the spectrum. I am a very involved aunty to my 4 year old nephew who is on the spectrum. I’ve babysat my baby cousin who is autistic between ages 2 and 6. Sometimes I worked the sensory rooms at children’s church with children ages 5 to 10 who are on the spectrum.
