Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I owned a home Daycare for 25 years, I was able to homeschool my own children and grandchildren as needed. I love children and love learning from them. I am a grandmother of 5 and my youngest grandson just turned 15, I have empty arms. Looking forward to sharing all this backed up love with someone's Little bundle of joy. I am also a Master Gardener and would love to teach your baby basic gardening and other environmental things as they grow.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy teaching sign language to infants and toddlers, using Miss Rachel. I love taking children into the garden and sharing food ideas as well as teaching youngish how to do simple meals using fresh foods from the garden. I ENJOY TEACHING SEWING AND CROCHETING FOR AGE APPROPRIATE CHILDREN. I enjoy the outdoors during nice weather.

I am very compassionate and intuitive so working with children with special needs comes second nature for me. I listen with my heart. I have worked with children on and off the spectrum. I LOVE THEM ALL.

My favorite nanny moment was when a toddler that I was training to use the pot, told her mom that she had to use the potty while we were in public.

I love teaming with parents in helping take care of their beloved children. I love arts and crafts, music and dancing, being outside and animals as well. I have my degree in PreK-4th grade education and I do have CPR and first aid training but I need to update it.
I believe that developmentally appropriate activities are very important and strive to provide opportunities for each child to grow in the areas they are most needed while supporting their interests and passions.
I love working with infants and toddlers and helping new parents navigate life and supporting however I can.
Whatever phase of life and parenthood or even grandparent-hood you are in, I do have a passion for supporting you and your children in it.
