Activities I enjoy doing with children...
i love doing all kinds of fun activities with the kiddos! whether it’s arts and crafts, coloring, reading bedtime stories, playing outside, going to the park, baking little treats, playing games, or having a little movie day, i’m always happy to keep them entertained! i also love encouraging their creativity, helping them learn new things, and letting them be themselves while making sure they’re safe and having a good time. 👍
The most important part about being a nanny...
i think the most important thing about being a nanny is making sure every child feels safe, loved, and comfortable with you. parents are trusting me with their babies, and i take that seriously. it’s about more than just watching kids i believe it’s being patient with them, listening to them, helping them learn, and making sure they know they can be themselvees around you. i want the families i work with to feel at ease knowing their little ones are in good hands, and i want the kids to look forward to spending time with me,. And knowing i made a positive difference in a child’s life, even in the smallest way, means everything to me.
My experience with special needs children...
i understand that every child is different and has their own needs, personality, and way of expressing themselves. i believe in being patient, gentle, and understanding with every child, especially children who may need a little extra support. for example, i would take the time to learn a child’s routine, what helps them feel comfortable, and how to communicate with them in a way that works best for them. my goal is to make every child feel safe, loved, included, and understood while giving parents peace of mind knowing their little one is being cared for with patience and kindness.
The most important part about being a nanny...
one of my favorite nanny moments is seeing how attached the kids get to me and how excited they get when it’s time to spend time together. 💗 i moved to Jacksonville from brooklyn ny recently and one of my clients children that I babysit for couldnt stand to see me go and i didn't realize how much I impacted her. one of the sweetest things is when a child remembers something little you did with them and asks to do it again, or when they come running to you excited to show you something. those moments might seem small, but they mean so much to me! i love knowing that i can make a child’s day a little brighter and be someone they feel safe and happy around.
