A little bit about me

Hi families! My name is Lauren and I am a recent graduate from Sonoma State University with a Bachelors degree in Human Development. My hope is to work my way up to becoming an art therapist for children! Right now I don’t have much experience working with kids as an official job but I was a teacher assistant for a Special Education class at my middle school, I have worked with children in younger classes at my Tae Kwon Do studio, and have done a few unofficial baby sitting gigs for family friends. I would love to work as a full time nanny and immerse myself in the world of working with children! I am both CPR and First Aid certified. I do not have my drivers license but I am currently in the works of getting one, in the meantime public transportation is not an issue for me. I absolutely adore children and would love to help you and your family out with everyday chores, tasks, and fun!

The most important part about being a nanny is the energy you walk through the door with. I want to create a firm and trusting relationship not only with the child(ren) but also with the parents/guardians. I want to work alongside children as they express themselves creatively and also help families with their schedules by meal prepping, scheduling nap times, and doing everyday tasks around the house to ensure the family is stress free and the child is well attended to!
