More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I would volunteer to help with children often.
Then I started watching family it started out as just a few hours.
Then I would start watching family friends children.
Then I got my first regular babysitting job for a single mom of 3. Two girls and a boy ages 9,3, and 1. It gave me lots of experience. I would bathe them, prep food/feed them, do light house keeping, and take them on small trips.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We would go swimming.
We would play at the park.
Their favorite was when we would go to the store together and they got to help choose groceries and sometimes I would by presents for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important things about being a nanny is letting th child learn.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only worked one child before that had special needs. I like to think of it as a special ability instead of a disability. I would care for the child, help with medical needs, and entertain the child. I haven't had a chance to work with children with special needs since some people feel in too young.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was about a year ago when I was just watching a three year old girl while her mother had went out for the day. We were thinking about things to do, when she suggested we play Barbies. We were playing for awhile when she starts yelling. I ask her what's wrong and she complains her barbie had diarrhea and pooped on her mom's bed. I look over to the Barbies bed and see a Tootsie roll there. I laugh to myself later telling her mother about it.
