One of my favorite memories as a nanny was watching a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working so hard to do. After weeks of practicing, they finally reached their goal, and seeing the excitement and pride on their face was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love nannying. I also cherish the everyday moments—reading stories together, doing crafts, laughing during playtime, and seeing the children feel safe, happy, and excited to spend time with me. Building those trusting relationships with both the children and their families is the most meaningful part of being a nanny.
