I was a Summer counselor for different disabled children at Pediatrics Plus (kids aging from 1-9) I also have experience with babysitting my younger sibilings for about 6 years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts or playing with toys with them. I love seeing their imaginations come to life and also getting to experience what’s it’s like being a kid again. I also love playing by games either board games or generic games like hide and seek. One of my favorite things is having dance parties or doing just dance on the tv and seeing who’s the best!
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at Pediatrics Plus as a summer counselor last summer working with different disabled children. I checked the charts of the different children that I was working with and made sure I got to know them and their disability very well so I could do my job and help them.
