Anything hands on! Having to take a class back in highschool along with working at childcare places really highlighted that children need the hands on activities and not just a free for all. Having them make little keepsakes and even doing fine/gross motor skills you really get to watch them sprout.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is not seeing this as just money. Actually having a bond with the children as if they are your own, another thing is communication! Having great communication when you’re a nanny is something that would not only help the nanny but also the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked in childcare with children with special needs, I’ve also taken a class with children with special needs not to mention having siblings as well. I’m not new to it at all, I know the “struggles” that come with it and that some days are harder than others.
