A little bit about me

My name is Layne, I’m 19 years old and currently attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. I live in Shakopee and am hoping to find a family nearby who needs help with childcare this summer. I have experience babysitting kids ages 2–12 and currently volunteer weekly at an elementary school after-school program, where I help supervise activities and work with students. I’ve also helped out at Red Oak Elementary, so I’m very comfortable working with kids in both home and school settings! I’m reliable, responsible, and patient, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I’m looking for a full-time position (around 30-40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) this summer (roughly mid May–August, flexible). I have reliable transportation and am willing to drive up to 30 minutes from Shakopee! ☺️ I’m also happy to help with light meal prep, outdoor activities, and keeping kids active and engaged during the summer.
