A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Leah! I’m 18 years old and LOVE kids!! My little sister is at the point now where she is well able to watch herself and i would love to have a job where I can do something I love! I have nannied before and have experience with kids from ages 2-12. I am not cpr certified but if that’s something your family requires I would happily get certified! I would do some light house keeping, cooking, activity planning, and I have my license so I am happy to drive! I am currently a dance teacher during the week so I am only available to work weekends! Breaks are flexible for me though as I don’t teach then!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I regularly babysit for some family friends. They have a 4 year old, 6 year old, and 9 year old. I also have grown up babysitting on and off my whole life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing outside and making up fun games! Baking and cooking are also a very fun interactive activities! I like going to the beach or playing at the park! Every kid is different, some liking toys and some liking more physical games and I am up to both!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Loving the kids well, keeping them in a safe environment and always putting them first. Making sure the parents are always comfortable knowing the kids are safe and having fun. Healthy discipline for the kids is also very important.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t personally have any experience babysitting children with special needs but I am happy to learn more! My dad is a special education teacher and I would happily get help from the family as well as my dad!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Last year I was watching a 4 year old, 6 year old, and a 9 year old. They wanted to play a board game but didn’t know how to play so I tried explaining the rules but the kids ended up making it their own and made up some new rules! ;)
