More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was with my last "family " for 2 1/2 years, and they have 3 beautiful children, their baby boy was 6 months old, and they had a 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Both parents worked full time, so I would be there from sunrise to sunset monday-friday, driving the kids to school and after-school activities. We had a good routine that made it easier to keep up with 2 big kids and a toddler. Take the kids to school, breakfast for Tristan, daily education & physical activity/learning with the baby, as requested by mom & dad. After lunch, time was nap time, which I would use for light chores, making lunches, doing laundry, and cleaning up the house until it was time to pick up the kids. After school, they had snack time, homework time, backyard play time, dinner, and one 1 hour of screen time, usually watching TV or playing games until parents got home. We still keep in touch, and they are my reference as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love art, I have all the material for some fun and east watercolor, or finger painting! I enjoy playing games with the kids like charades or even making our own "fair" games at home like milk bottle toss, ring toss, and bean bag toss. Pin the tail on the donkey and other fun silly games! If the weather is nice, I love being outdoors, playing soccer, or going for walks. In the evening I like reading books with children or have them read the book to me!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Understand the trust and the responsibilities that come with the job. Safety must always be the #1 priority, followed by #2 have fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Christmas Eve drinking wine with mom and putting on a fake Santa beard to put out cookies& milk for the kids( we ate the cookies!) . Then, I woke up Christmas morning to the most excited, happy, joyful 3 kids I've ever seen. It was a really fun Christmas!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Atlanta, GA: Mary-Olivia G.
Hello, my name is Mary-Olivia, but I sometimes go by April. And I love to read, get into nature, watch movies, and play games. I am well aware of the balance between work and play, and plan to implement such skills when interacting with children. With being a party host for children's birthday parties being my very first job, I have no problem creating and maintaining an energetic atmosphere. However, I can also multitask other equally important roles such as tidying up; while simultaneously making it enjoyable for everyone involved. Additionally, I am a sophomore at Oglethorpe University, pursuing a Bachelor's in Biology with goals of reaching Medical school.
