My favorite moment when I was babysitting was when I was babysitting for my neighbor, she had just had her fourth baby. She asked me if I could babysit her other kids while she tried to work, and also take care of her newborn. I started noticing she was having a difficult time doing both, so I offered to take care of her newborn so she could focus on work. My neighbor was so relieved when I volunteered to watch over her newborn, but my favorite part about babysitting her newborn was that I felt so alive when I held her newborn in my arms. I felt so much peace and love for this child, even though it was not mine.
