More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat a lot when I was in junior high through high school. When I was 16 years old we adopted my little brother. I packed him around all of the time. I used to have a daycare of 10 kids. I was a SCAN ( Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) Volunteer. I'm a mom too. I was a nanny for a 12 year old girl and 10 year old autistic boy. Im a part-time evening nanny now for an autistic 6 year old who doesnt speak. I worked at a treatment outpatient center where we had a youth group and at Juvenile Probation where we dealt with kids at risk.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Swimming, talking, laughing, watching videos, reading, going for walks, learning new things and playing etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the child is protected and feels safe with me when mom and dad are gone. I want them to feel okay that their parent(s) are leaving and excited to see me. ********** I wanted to add how important date night is. Even if Im not your nanny, Im more than happy to fill in on date night. Life isn't totally about work and kids. Your time ❤️ together is very important too. **********
My experience with special needs children...
I've had an autistic boy under my care. He was 7 years old. He had a lot of anger issues. His sister was 9 years old and teased him a lot. It definitely took time but the big sister got much better which helped her brother as well and he was a way happier, funny, cheerful little guy once he could feel that I cared for him and his happiness. He'd be jumping up and down at the door when I'd arrive. He was a real sweet heart. ĺ have a little cutie now who's autistic and doesn't speak, but he will give me big hugs and sit on my lap sometimes and he's saying a lot by doing that. He's a gentle little soul inside.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When my autistic child ran up and hugged me and said I love you!😊

Hey! I’m Ana, I’m 21, and I’m passionate about working with kids with special needs. I’m certified through DDD, have a valid fingerprint clearance card, and I’m CPR certified, so I’m trained and prepared to provide safe and reliable care. My journey into this field is really personal—I have siblings with special needs, and growing up with them inspired me to get certified and help others. I’ve learned how important patience, empathy, and creativity are when supporting kids, and I bring that energy into everything I do. On top of that, I’m an animal lover with a few pets of my own, and I believe animals can bring so much joy, comfort, and connection to people’s lives. Between my certifications, personal experience, and love for helping others, I’m excited to make a positive impact wherever I can.
