More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
i used to be a lead teacher at a local daycare, i was over kiddos ages 1-5 depending on the week.
i have been in best buddies since i was in 2nd grade here locally in gilbert and i am still actively involved with the organization.
i also help out at church in the nursery since i was 12 on and off as needed.
any chance i get to help people out and tend there kiddos, i take!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
i enjoy taking the kids on walks, bike rides, trips to the pools near by and water parks.
if there are any activities sponsored by the neighbourhoods or area, i tend to ask the parents if they kids want to attend and don’t mind taking them to these.
but at the end of the day if it’s too hot outside i don’t mind having a chill day inside, watching movies, reading books, or doing any sort of activity inside with the kids. i’m pretty much game for anything.

is aiding in a child’s development and helping the parents further a relationship with their children.
My experience with special needs children...
i have taken care of kids with autism, down syndrome, dwarfism and even kids with learning disabilities. i have helped with kids who have stomach tubes for feeding as well.
each kid is different regardless of a disability or not, but i tend to gauge how i interact with the kid based on parents direction firstly and if that approach doesn’t work for me i work with the parents for what i think might benefit their child and their needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
i just love when you’ve been watching a kid grow up and when they get to the talking stage and they say your name in there cute little baby voices. brightens my day.
