I have three younger sisters, I’ve been a babysitter for 6 years, and for roughly 5 years I was a volunteer at a nursery. I love hanging out with children, and I think it’s even more fun when you get to hang out with the same children a lot. Then you really get to know them, and connect with them. I’m fine with any ages. To clarify, I don’t have my own car, I do get to use one of the family cars, so there shouldn’t be an issue.

I think the most important part is getting to know the child/children you work with. To give them a friend to hang out with. A lot of children get nervous when their parent(s) leave. So, it’s important to make them feel like this is not just a caregiver but also a playmate.
