More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship for six years, taught kids from as young as three to as old as sixteen. Also volunteered in a nursery for a few months.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Puzzles, physical activity (walks, going to park, hide and seek, duck duck goose, ect), I love to read aloud and have become good at doing all kinds of different voices. I enjoy teaching moments as well, and have no problem assisting with homework.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am extremely child-oriented. I love children and love to be around them and teach them, play with them. Being a nanny to me means being a positive light in a child's life, being a role model, someone to be a rock.
My experience with special needs children...
My middle sibling has ADHD and dyslexia, and my youngest sibling has dietary needs (Celiac disease). When I worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship, I worked with any child who came, including one very sweet girl with Downs Syndrome who latched to me very quickly. I am also experienced in working with autism, as I'm a low-maitinence autist myself.
