A little bit about me

My name is Lily Alexander, I'm a student at MSU and will be graduating next Spring with a double major in Finance and Accounting! I am currently within the top 3% of my class and love to use the knowledge I've gathered to help students in need. I've assisted in tutoring younger children and fellow students from the time of early high school, and continue through this day.

I have also been working as a babysitter and a nanny for over 10 years! I continually come back to work within childcare because of the natural connection I share with the children I care for, as well as the great feeling of being able to be part of and help shape a young kids life.

I love to spend my time outside biking, swimming, hiking, rafting and running! I have a two year old German Shepard mix, who usually comes on all these adventures with me. If I'm not outside, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, puzzles, card games and board games. I always find a fun and interesting way to spend my time one way or another!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've been tutoring children of all ages, as well as my fellow students, from the beginning of high school. I was also a children's ski instructor in Big Sky for two seasons, as well as a swim teacher for toddlers while in high school!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing anything outside with kids, you name it. Biking, walking, swimming, hiking, yard games, and so much more. As a kid I grew up outside and would love to share the excited of such with this next generation of children! I also love any kind of card game, board games, puzzles, and arts and crafts, all of which are even more fun when I can experience with children.

My experience with special needs children...

Although I don't have explicit experience with caring for young children with special needs, I am a very quick learner and am eager to help in anyway I can. I have previously helped tutor/instruct young teen students with special needs, and would use that experience when developing the set of skills needed for your child.
