My experience with special needs children...
I haven't had much experience with special needs kids, however a few years ago I went on a mission trip to Costa Rica where I worked with special needs kids for a week and I remember feeling a connection to one of the kids named Johnny. I will never forget that connection. Johnny isolated often and didn’t enjoy other people’s company, but somehow Johnny and I clicked and we had a great time together.
