2 years ago at an over night summer camp I was responsible for a child who was high on the Autism spectrum. She was capable of doing a lot of day-to-day tasks but there were some things she needed help with; I was her buddy the week every time she needed something I was the one she came to. A joy to have around. By the end of the week at the summer camp she told me "You remind me of my mom".
