Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I graduated from a community college in California with an associate's degree in early childhood education and child development. I spent over three years working at an extended care program at an elementary school where I worked with children ages 4-12. I played games with them, facilitated art and science projects, helped them with homework, and helped them learn necessary skills for their future. I also babysat for several families in my area. I also have experience with children as young as newborns, as I babysat my younger brother and cousins.

I love to play different card and board games with children. I love to bake. I also love to just play with the toys they have and let their imaginations run free. I love to read books with them and have fun with the voices of the characters in the stories. I love to sing and dance with them. I also love to go to parks to play and run around.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny means that I am helping a family by doing something that I love. I get to work with children and see their imaginations and creativity at work, while also helping families who need to work or get things done around their house. I am glad that I get to make the wonderful but time-consuming job of raising and looking after children a little easier for families.
