Besides several years of babysitting and nannying experience in my teens, I have spent three summers working at a summer camp for kids aged 7-16. As a result I have training and significant experience in safety, behavioral management, and creating fun, engaging, and educational activities for kids.

I love getting outside the house! Some of my favorite things to do are going for nature walks to learn about the plants and animals around the neighborhood, going to a nearby playground to get some energy out, or visiting a local attraction like the zoo. Back at home, I love engaging with kids through play as well as facilitating independent play.

In my experience, the most important thing about being a nanny is respect. Showing a child respect for their needs and boundaries not only makes them feel more comfortable and respect you, but it teaches them to show respect to others. I really value getting to be a part of a child's growth and development and strive to leave a positive lasting impact.

Once, on a hot day, my kids (3yrs and 5yrs) and I decided to play outside. Since it was so hot out, we got out the hose and ran around in the water. It was a really fun moment because it reminded me how much fun I used to have playing outside as a kid!
