Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a 5 year old sister that I've spent a lot of time caring for. I worked in church nurseries since I was 9 or 10. I've had off and on babysitting jobs since then as well. I've babysat all ages from newborn to 13+ but prefer the younger ages. I volunteered at a preschool as the music instructor and got to work with the littles there, including in the Special Needs classroom.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Music! Sports! Board games! Pretty much anything! I'm not super comfortable with video games but I'm willing to sit down and try my best!

My experience with special needs children...
I have extensively cared for a little girl with down syndrome from the time she was a baby (she is now 4.5). As a Music Therapy major, we are taught how to treat and care for special needs children. I have volunteered in Special Needs classrooms and with Special Needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was playing with one of the babies that I care for when he let out his first full laugh! It still makes my heart happy!
