A little bit about me

I am from Cuyahoga Falls and I have my child development associates:) I also have my CPR, First aid, and communicable diseases! I love working with children and watching their growth!! I cover gross motor skills, fine motor skills, learning numbers, letters, shapes, letter sounds, colors, to the appropriate age group:) I do love to read stories also and do lesson plans and topics throughout the year to learn! I usually make one topic about a week to two weeks! I do block plans so you can see what I do throughout the week! I can also meal prep and clean the home and keep it tidy! I like to do field trips so that the children can also get experience on fun field trips:))

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered with daycares before and I have worked at a day care for almost two years now:) I went through an Early Childhood Program for two years and worked with children before hand. I also have baby sat before and gotten some experience with it😊 I learned to care for children from birth to the age of 12!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making activites and watching them use their creativity to come up with answers 😊 I have made activites for all different types of age groups! Each age group I have different focus on and I like to see what they know! I keep track of what they know (letters, numbers, shapes, etc) and keep it tracked so I know where to help more and where next to start! I love also reading fun books and doing field trips related!! The joy it brings 🥰

The most important part about being a nanny...

kindness. Kindness it very important, having kindness shows who you are and how you are with children, children look up to adults, teach them how to be amazing, children are mini adults, the deserve the same respect! Have fun, show love and compassion, show children how fun it is to learn, make it all fun for them, learning is fun!!!

My experience with special needs children...

I have my paraprofessional and I am able to work with children with special needs 😊

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love the jokes they make and running around the playground listening to music 🎶

Part-Time Nanny Available in Cuyahoga Falls, OH: Kara F.

Hello I’m Kara! I’m currently a daycare teacher since April and I love my job. I worked retail for 10 years and was a manager for 5! I left because I needed a more fulfilling and rewarding job. It’s the best decision I’ve made. I have a classroom with roughly 7 toddlers, sometimes up to 14 with another teacher. I love teaching them how to grow and seeing their smiling faces in the mornings! At this time, I need a part time job, gaining extra money to save for a house. I currently work Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 and would love to work 5pm-9pm or 6pm-10pm mon-Friday. Please reach out if these hours work for you. I’m great with the kiddos & it’s a perfect time for date nights! 😊
