I previously worked as a counselor then Manager in an aftercare program where I helped care for and manage 80+ children each day. I created a safe and welcoming environment, supervised activities, helped children navigate challenges, and made sure each child felt seen, included, and supported. I was also responsible for being attentive to children’s individual needs, including managing allergies, following medical care instructions, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care.
