I grew up on Long Island N.Y. with my parents and brother .
At around age 5,I had been involved in dance, gymnastics,skiing and ice skating which I continued throughout high school .
I began soccer at age 7 and went on to play throughout college.
I like to be active outdoors and love watching feel good movies for down time.
I love baking,crafts,reading and holidays.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to engage kids with hands on projects like building with legos,making homemade cards and other DIY fun
I would ask them what they like to do as well and learn about it.
I find learning games to be fun and a productive part of the day.

I’m always excited to play any outdoor sports as well as swimming and hiking.
I’ve grown up going to the beach and continue to love the many activities to do there including searching for seashells and building sandcastles.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a family for 4 years with a boy diagnosed with ADHD
My 23 year old son also has ADHD and autism spectrum disorder
He is high functioning and has exceeded our expectations in life
My nephew is very low functioning on the spectrum and has required extensive care ,patience and understanding
I have learned a lot from him
Even though he doesn’t appear to be paying attention,he entirely is.
I believe all children are attentive to what’s going on around them and are subject to picking up positive and negative behaviors
I believe,as adults,we should all be the best example we can be..
