A little bit about me

I am a Career Nanny with over 25 yrs of childcare/teaching experience, recently working the last 6 yrs as a MA certified Driving Instructor. I live in N. Framingham, drive a 2018 Outlander. I have always worked with young children either in daycare or schools, and lots of Nannying right up until I started my own family. As much as I love being a Driving Instructor, I truly miss the experiences of spending my days with a little bitty buddy who is young enough that I can experience the many milestones they go through, walking, talking,-Oh those gummy smiles! I have done a LOT of childcare /teaching/Nannying and I am looking for an infant/ young toddler so I can start early and stay longterm. I owned an operated a CPR Instruction business. I ran it for 16 years before passing it on to my niece. I am very loving, caring, nurturing, attentive and know how to multitask and take initiative. The BEST thing about me is that I am a Mom to an amazing beautiful a 14-year-old daughter of my own.

Teaching Preschool and TK 4-5yr olds, Also worked with children with a variety of learning disabilities , emotional and behavioral with Wayside Youth and Family Support Network for 8 years before starting my own family!

I love infant babies toddlers -the early stages teaching babies through repetition and associations its amazing what they can absorb and retain at such a young age!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a Nanny means loving and caring for a child under my protection as I would want someone to love and nurture MINE! Its not just about taking care of them and keeping them safe- while thats up there in importance- but teaching confidence- through positive play, and teaching kids to love and respect the world around them, you can never start too young! I’v been on both ends of the nanny experience having worked as a nanny for many years and employed amazing nannies to care for MY kids when and being on both ends has molded me into the person I am today. If I could do anything I wanted with my life I would have a house full of babies and toddlers. But life had other plans for my family and I truly believe that I was meant to care for young children and teach them to be all they can be and most importantly teach them to love and BE loved and engage them in fun loving structured play and challenge their minds -love their little personalities for the unique individuals they each are.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children and teens with mild to severe autism - low to high functioning, Assisted with OT, PT, I created Sensory Therapy program and got amazing growth from kids who experienced this in a trial program, Studies child Devlopment in college in the early 90s and never stopped learning and loving this field

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my best moments have been watching a child take the first steps or figure out a solution to a complicated puzzle or do something that is above and beyond what we all thought possible. I believe that kids can be challenged in a fun positive way and they were always blow us away and exceed our expectations and I love witnessing those little moments that are few and far between.
