I was a Teacher Assistant at 3 different daycare settings where I would help teachers with different ages groups from diaper changing to potty training helped setup snacks and lunch took the kids to the playground also did story time fun arts and craft taught pre-k kids simple Spanish with the afterschool kids I helped during homework if they needed. I would also fill in for teachers when they were on vacation or out sick.

I would say the most important part about being a nanny to me is being a role model and building a connection. I love when kids don't want to see me go home or when they tell me they want to be like me when they grow up or when they want to do things just like me.
