Growing up in a family of seven siblings and being an aunt to five has given me a lifelong passion for working with children. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making time with kids fun, creative, and full of little adventures! Whether it’s having living-room dance parties, building forts, baking cookies, making crafts, going on nature walks, visiting the zoo, or spending an afternoon at the park, I always try to find something exciting to do. I also love the quieter moments like reading stories, coloring, playing pretend, and coming up with little games. I enjoy getting creative, following their interests, and making even the simplest activities feel special. My goal is to make every day a little more fun while creating memories they can look back on!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important parts of being a nanny are creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and understood. It’s important to be patient, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. Being a nanny is about more than just watching children; it’s about building relationships, helping them learn and grow, encouraging their creativity, and making everyday moments meaningful. Communication with parents, consistency, and being someone they can trust are also huge parts of the job. Most importantly, I think it’s about making sure every child feels loved, safe, and cared for while creating memories and experiences that help shape their childhood.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t nannied for a special needs child but i have a couple i do get to interact with and have gotten to know at the school i currently work at!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite moments are when my nanny kids tells me stories about things from when he was little. They’re usually so out of pocket and don’t necessarily match how things actually happened, but the way he remembers and views those moments now makes them even funnier. I love getting to hear his little imagination and perspective, and it’s something I know I’ll always look back on and laugh about.
