Some of my passions are traveling the world, learning new languages, yoga, meditation, art, and music. Giving children the attention they need. For me - interacting with the world around us is the most important thing. I never use technology with the kids I care for unless we are intentionally all watching 1 movie together later in the evening as a sort of treat.

One of my favorite memories nannying is going to the beach with the kids I cared for - age 2 and 4. We played in the ocean and the two little girls asked me if I could see their mermaid powers. I said of course and they said then you must be a mermaid too. I have the image of the three of us being mermaids by the sea in my heart forever.
