I worked as a special education teacher assistant and as a nurses assistant.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Besides regular subjects we do crafts, exercises and talking (this is to just let kids express themselves). Also try to teach kids about the importance of life skills such as regularly washing hands, cleaning up after themselves, being kind and how to express their anger rather than fighting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping care for other families children as if they were my own. Treat them as little persons and assist them in whatever they need from learning to mental/emotional health.

This one boy I cared for said he wanted to quit preschool and come to my house instead because his teacher does not let him talk cause he stuttered. It was cute! Mom said he told teacher that she wasn't a good teacher because she doesn't let him talk.
