In Colombia, I have a bachelor's degree. all my experience is based in elementary school. I have a great respect for these children who are in the process of developing their interests and skills. I have a great love for animals and I like to have an education based on values.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to assist many families because parents currently were busy working from home or because the children lived with their grandparents and were not familiar with electronic devices. However, all my university internships were done in different schools teaching English vocabulary through educational games and platforms.

Language Games: Play English language games like "I Spy," charades, or Simon Says to reinforce vocabulary and language comprehension.
Pretend Play: Engage in imaginative play scenarios where the children can practice using English in role-playing situations, such as playing house or pretending to be characters from their favorite English-language stories.
Flashcards and Memory Games: Use flashcards to practice vocabulary words in English. Play memory games where the children match English words with corresponding.

I think my favorite moment as a nanny or as a teacher is feeling the satisfaction when a child expresses gratitude for acquiring new knowledge, or simply when they lovingly thank you for your presence and patience, and you become an important person to them, as if you were a role model. I believe it feels gratifying to know that you are not just someone who is there to care for them.
