Im Liz, 25 and recently moved to Norther California. Im origionally from Santa Barbra where I was previously working as a preschool teacher. I made the career change to become a paralegal and found my way here!.In my time working in child care I became familiar with all age groups from 3 months old-15 years old. I started working with the Santa Barbara high school infant center, followed by Franklin elementary "AOK" after school program and finished my teaching career as a preschool teacher working with 3-5 year olds. I love being around kids and have a wide variety of experience with all age groups. I found myself loving the relationship I built with famalies and miss having kiddos to take care of, so I offer my services and hope to be able to help families here. My previous job as a preschool teacher I babysat for families after school. I worked with families and helped them whenever they needed me! I have built amazing relationships with the kids I babysit for and continue to be a part of their life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love exploring with the kids! I have taken kiddos to the zoo, sweet treat trips and plenty of park time. For the kids that prefer to stay indoors I read books, color, play hide and seek, as well as karaoke with them! I find out what they love and gravitate towards so that I can bond with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The children's happiness. They come first and I love to do whatever makes them happy. If they just need someone to play with, or talk to, or simply watch a movie with. I understand how they bond and I love to build my relationship stronger with them so they see me as a person in their life they can have fun with and trust.

With the kids I babysit for one of the girls has told me she feels as if I am a part of her family. That warmed my heart, I know she needed a friend to listen and get to know her.
