Hi, my name is Logan! I am 27 years old and I have 7+ years of full-time childcare experience with children as young as 8 weeks to as old as 15 years old. I specialize in working with infants and have particular interest and experience with infant sleep!

My specialties include :
- Infant Care Specialization & First Aid/CPR Certifications
- Working with tech-free / limited screen families (If this is of interest to you I do ask however that your child already be used to limited screen time in their normal day to day!)
- Facilitating imaginative child-led play (Montessori concepts)
- Coming up with creative and age-appropriate activities for fine motor and sensory development
- Preparing balanced snacks + meals with whole ingredients

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m primarily a private in-home nanny for infants in their first year to 18mos before they head off to day care but I’ve worked as a sleepaway camp counselor as well for a handful of summers with older children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting outside with babies weather permitting! Stroller walks or baby-wearing walks are my favorite, especially as they get older and it becomes more of a sensory learning experience. I also love singing and reading to them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a full-time nanny I often spend more of their waking hours with them than practically anyone else in their life, so for me the most important part is providing them love and care and security that I would want my own babies to have if I were away at work! In tandem with that, I am a nanny who focuses a *lot* on parent involvement during the day with text updates and pictures and relevant questions about their needs. I find that being an in-home nanny is so special because I am able to collaborate WITH parents more in the choices I make for their little ones during the day than a traditional daycare setting typically allows for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve had the good fortune to be a part of so many children’s lives at this point that it’s impossible to choose a singular moment. I am simply in love with the process of being there while they grow up. Truly fills my days with joy, even during the more challenging phases!
