I was a daycare teacher, nanny and tutor all through college [phone number hidden]) and after graduation I was a youth mentor and social worker until 2022 when I began freelancing and nannying on my own terms. I was also a youth pastor and trip leader.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Caring about the well being of the child and seeing it as a sacred duty more so than just a job. Kids are sacred and should be treated as such!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I had a family I tutored for 2 years for, and we became very close. I was getting ready to leave for a missions trip and the kids brought out their own piggy banks of change to donate for my trip. I tried to refuse of course, but the family wouldnt allow it. We still connect now and again on holidays and birthdays. But that moment was so beautiful for us all and those are the kinds of bonds I tend to build with clients.
