I love teach kids dances or go on nature walks (nothing too extreme), go to the park, play soccer or journal, go to art museums, work on craft projects, go to concerts, you name it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is being able to nourish a child’s love for learning about life. I really admire children’s imagination and abilities to find wonder in everyday circumstances and to be able to curate experiences that they’ll cherish for the the rest of their childhoods is such a compelling thing for me as a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
My sister is deaf so my experience, while situationally limited, is still apparent. I also spent all of my highschool and middle school years volunteering with the special needs classes and forming strong relationships with the students in those classes. I have immense amounts of patience and understanding from those years as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I once babysat this girl who played me in a couple rounds of badminton and managed to get every birdie and a couple rackets in the tree by her front door so I ended up climbing about twenty feet in the air to get the necessary game tools back. We laughed about it all night long.
