I started babysitting when I was 11 years old for my neighbors at the time, 4 children aged: 6 months, 2, 5 and 7 years. I have had several part-time babysitting jobs scattered throughout my life since then, but have most recently been employed, in the past few years, with nannying positions. I have cared for children in the age range of 2 months to 12 years, but the majority of my experience has been with little ones. My current situation is with two families; I care for an 18-month-old 4 days/week (since he was 2 months old) and a 22-month-old 1 day/week (since he was 6 months old). The former position is coming to a close at the end of June, as the child is starting daycare. So I am currently searching for a 4 or 5 day/week full-time or nearly full-time position. I have a background substituting at a Montessori school, the philosophy of which I apply to my caregiving.
