Hello! My name is Lorena Garcia , I'm currently a homeschooled Senior with a flexible schedule, I've babysat before on other sites. I'm great with children of any age, they tend to love me! I'm sweet and caring, because I'm in Highschool you may think I'm not good enough for your kids because of my age, but I can assure you that with my training and certifications I'm a great choice for your children... I'm young and full of energy and fun for them. I know how to cook great meals, I can follow instructions smoothly, clean up my area or any mess the kids made while they were in my care, clean the dishes I used and just make your lives easier in general. While your kids are asleep in my care, I'll take the time to do some studying on my laptop due to my homeschooling situation and wait for the time you guys come back!! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- Volunteered in a reading study for kids in elementary school, helping them with pronunciation and logging their reading and writing time. (for 2-3 years while in Highschool)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy seeing and hearing a child's pure joy, I like to color, paint, craft, conversate, play make believe games with children, making forts (not too messy of course..), tag, soccer, football, gymnastics (I was a gymnast when I was in elementary and remember a few tricks..), flower picking, connect with nature, sunset watching, and just enjoy the little things we have in life with your children. I was raised well by my parents and learned to love and be grateful for all the little simple things in this world. I will teach your children the same.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The thing that matters most to me as a nanny is that your child enjoys my company.. I was once little in elementary and had a nanny I hated so much because she wasn't fun, she wouldn't let me play outside with her and she sat on the couch all day when I asked to play... I'd never want to be a nanny like that, I want children to be happy when they see me and run to hug me and think of me as a big sister. I want them to say things like this to their parents, " Yayyy, Lorena's coming again?" or "I want Lorena to babysit me again she was so much fun and nice". I want all that and I'd like to please the parent as as well on whatever they ask of me so I can be welcomed once again into their home.

My experience with special needs children...

I've never dealt with special needs children, but I've got a positive energy and I'm ready to be taught whatever is needed for your child and their needs..

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a babysitter/ nanny was when I once babysat my neighbors baby girl ( 4-5 years old) and took her out in the grass.. She walked with me and we saw a little butterfly get super close to her, she was scared but I was able to get it onto my finger while enlightening her on how they're small important insects for flowers and our system, and I was also able to put it on her finger. I've never seen such a cute little smile and laugh in my life as she saw it fly away from her finger...Soon enough she wanted to keep going on walks with me and loved looking for new animals and learning about them.
