The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel secure and supported. I believe it’s not only about supervising, but also about building a strong connection, understanding each child’s unique personality, and helping them grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Being patient, responsible, and consistent is key, as well as maintaining open communication with parents to ensure the best care for their children.

One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working on and feeling proud of themselves. Being part of that process—encouraging them, supporting them, and celebrating their progress—was incredibly rewarding. I also love the small everyday moments, like sharing laughter during playtime, reading together, or when a child feels comfortable enough to express themselves freely. Those genuine connections and seeing their happiness are what make this role so meaningful to me.
