A little bit about me

I'm a 64 yr young nanny who's been doing this 20+ yrs. I currently reside in the Mt Airy area,but have done families in my area plus center city, south Philly and currently Roxbourgh. I drive but don't have a personal vehicle,but Septa pretty much takes me everywhere. I am a non smoker, and have no allergies to animals. I have worked with families with one child , others with 2 or 3, plus I've done nanny shares, and families with multiples. I myself have a grown son with Asperger's so am very comfortable with special needs children. My style of nannying is to take care of the family as a whole, because at the end of the day if you can focus as much time as possible on each other instead of worrying about the laundry, dishes, etc.... it is beneficial for everyone, especially the little ones. I believe too in a balance of one on One ,and when old enough independent time,of course with nanny supervision 😊I have amazing references,both professional and personal. Hope to hear from you soon

I've been a nanny over 20 yrs and have cared for children all across Philadelphia. I have also done some early education teaching in the Reading school 🏫 district back when I lived there. I also have my own children,and of course got my childcare start as a babysitter in highschool 😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy everything from outdoor activities, going to the playground,taking walks to Reading books and crafts. Also whatever the child is into Dinos, cats, princesses,sign me up. It's all about finding joy and learning from those fun experiences.

My experience with special needs children...

Most of my experience have been with my own son who has Asperger's,but I've also worked in a couple private homes for children with multiple needs ranging from cerebral palsy to learning disabilities.

I watched a little bit for 5 yrs and I saw him take his first steps,I still have the video. Also when his sister was born and he was 3 he told here When they brought her home,that I was Miss Lori and I'd be taking care of her but I was "his nanny" 😊💞
