I love children of all ages. I have over 32 years experience as a retired school teacher and an EMT. Current on both state licenses, with Background check. My last year teaching full time was Kindergarten. A true joy. I have raised 4 successful adults(2 of each). Now praying to be a grandma in the distant future. I am an empty nester with strong morals and Integrity. I live a very blessed life. I want to share my time with a family that is looking for a fun, honest, communicative and educational relationship to help relieve the stress and uncertainty that comes with hiring a trustworthy nanny. I am dependable and can handle almost everything thrown at me. I love to cook as well, so meal time will be a breeze. I am a very disciplined and structured person when it comes to schedules and household rules. I also enjoy cleaning, so chores are welcome. I love animals. I have done rescue for over 30 years.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Retired teacher, but still teach as a sub. Currently am an EMT and have times where I take care of children in emergencies. I believe in creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for children to flourish. This enables them to become the best that they can be. My 4 children, after putting them all through college, now successful adults in their own lives are living proof I am more than capable of helping you with yours. I would be blessed and honored if you chose me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be outdoors creating new adventures, age appropriate and very fun. Some examples, are the zoo, a picnic at local parks, building sand castles on the beach, hands on at a tidal pool beach interacting with the amazing sealife.. As a career educator, I of course, will be adding in interesting knowledge throughout the outings. If the weather is not supportive to outdoor adventure, then indoor learning and fun is it. Some examples would be: Strengthening education, based on age appropriate levels, that are needed. Improving skills needed, again at an age appropriate level. Whether it is learning ABC’s, 123’s, or Reading to English Essays or Math I am a great teacher with patience and understanding throughout. I love to create fun, in safe and controlled Science experiments to help connect the dots and make learning exciting. Other more relaxing indoor fun may include movie or story time, board games, or puzzles. I cater to the children. Their happiness is what matters most to me!

The children’s safety, security, and happiness. To have the parents feel how glad they are, that they chose me, to take care of the most valuable and precious part of their family.
