A little bit about me

I'm reliable, patience, trustworthy, hardworking, flexible, love to work with children and teach. I like to prepare healthy meals, snacks,
also I am fluently in Spanish. I used to teach Spanish to kindergarten for 3 years. I was working in a daycare for more than 10 years with different ages group, from babies - 12 years old. The last 5 years in a daycare, I was working just with infants. In the past I worked full time with a boy with down syndrome for 3 years. 3 more years with another family watching their twins, full time, since they were 3 months old. My recently job worked watching a boy since his 5 months old until almost 3 years old.
I have a currently CPR and first aid certificate, I have them for several consecutive years. I also had a PCA (Personal Care Aid) certificate and MAT (Medicine Administration Training) certificate and I attended several trainings childcare's required.
My ability would be after your decision. Thanks in advance for the trust and opportunity.

"Lourdes is an absolute gem and we love her so much. She was with our twin boys from age 3 months until 2.5, when we started sending them to daycare full time so they could socialize with other children. She taught them so many skills, got to know them as individuals and made sure to engage them in their specific interests, and always came up with incredibly creative ways to play with and teach them. She helped me as a first time mom in so many ways: sleep and nap training, prepping meals, transitions as they grew, etc. She’s punctual, patient (with both kids and anxious parents), kind and has a great sense of humor. She is a baby and toddler whisperer and our boys love their “Lou-Lou!”"

"She puts the needs of children first, above her own comfort. She takes the time to get to know each individual child. She also focuses on babies' development by intentionally providing toys of various colors and textures and ensuring they get plenty of tummy time each day. Ms. Giron is loving, dependable, trustworthy, intentional, and professional. She made me feel, as a parent, that no request was unreasonable or ignored. I fully trust her judgement."

"Lourdes has been a great help to our family and still currently works once a week for us. She has been caring for my son since he was 3 months old and my daughter since she was 3. She is very caring and my children adore her. Lourdes is very dependable and always on time. She helps us to continue to work on new milestones/skills while she is with our children. I would highly recommend Lourdes."

"Lourdes was the lead teacher for my infant's class. I always felt at ease knowing my baby was in the care of Lourdes. She was always kind, caring, and personal, not only to my baby, but to me as well. She always provided detailed and open communication about my child's day and never hesitated to ask questions or voice concerns. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a care driver for 8 months, driving children and adults that can't drive (disabilities, or minors or no driver's licensed)
I took care of couple houses cleaning and organizing.
When they went on vacation I went to check their houses.
I can do laundry, wash, dry and fold clothes and household stuff.
2026: right now I can't offer my services as a nanny or working with little kids that need close attention, I hurt my knee in the last place I worked back in June. I can't bend my knee like I used to. I usually go on my knees to play with the little ones... I'm almost 60s years old, I guess that is one of the reasons, I did it too long and too much and now my knee is complaining 🙃
I can't do stuff that need me to go on my knees like cleaning the floor or stuff that needs me to be low for more than a minute.
I hope I can edit later this last part.
There are a lot of other things I can still helping with..
I hope I can still have opportunities even like that. I can. Bye for now

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love sports and board games. Crafts. I am very creative and like to recycle stuff

The most important part about being a nanny...

Treat a child like is yours, offer loving care, responsible, flexibility, trustworthy and teach according their age and abilities. Patience.

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of a boy with down syndrome, autism and no verbal communication. I was learning some sign language, he could hear but can't talk.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When they learn something I taught or when they want to play with me
