Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
The experience i have working with children has been in a volunteer teaching program to help adults and children to study and learn history. Most recently I worked at "Growing with Love Chong's Day care" with ages varying from 9 months old to 5 as an assistant to the manger/ owner. This job involves frequent activity changing problem solving and mediation when arguments and tantrums occur between children. I also assist in preparing food and limited light cleaning. Now I'm going to get a little serious but the biggest experiences I have with children is my own mother. My mom is technically high functioning autism with means she can speak clearly and do simple household work but when I was little she burnt out and is no longer able to do as much as she used to. Because of this I learned young how to help others who are struggling and learned about various metal states that can rapidly change when under stress. I love working with kids but I'm also able to work with strained adults.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
So some personal specialties are Drawing, Crafting and Painting which work well with any art enthist . I also love playing classic games that involve running around, hiding and, imagination. Other activities I enjoy are hiking, videogames, cooking, and enthusiastically listening to others about their passions and interests. My personal favorite things to do with kids are making blanket forts and crafting paper puppets. Finally I love making up adventures and acting to fit the story of any imaginative kid.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Helping children to be inspired to learn. when I was in school to be honest I struggled but when I finally finished I realized I have a deep passion to grow and to develop as a person and sharing the zeal for it is my favorite part of working with little children of all ages.
My experience with special needs children...
My main experience with special needs actually comes from my mother. My mother has Autism, ADHD, Did and once in a while schizophrenic episodes. This has trained me, since childhood, to be patient kind and loving when individuals suffer from a verity conditions. In modern experience from my work in the daycare I have experience working with individuals with ADHD and undiagnosed children on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
In the daycare I have worked at my favorite moment was when I little girl looked at me drew me and then gave it to me. I have never had a kid actually draw something with so much intention and then give it to me. It touched my heart because of some of the details in the drawing and also the fact she, at that time, was obsessing over her favorite caricature from a movie and chose to draw me inside of them. I don't know why, but that is absolutely the best experience I had.
