As the second oldest of five, and coming from an extremely large family, I've always been around and looked after children.

I love watching children grow. Seeing them come out of their shells, doing things that used to scare them, understanding emotions and how to express themselves, it's an incredible honor to be there and witness it.

I have two autistic nieces, and both are incredibly special in their own ways. I have come to learn that patience and understanding is all you need to connect and show each of them how I can show up for them how they need me to.
